Rabbitohs veteran John Sutton knows better than anyone at the Club about how to turn around the results on the scoreboard, and he says the key is getting away to better starts in matches.

Sutton believes that if the Rabbitohs can be performing at their best from the opening whistle then that will stand the team in good stead to continue to perform strongly throughout the 80 minutes, starting with Sunday’s clash against Canberra.

“I think we’ve got to start better,” Sutton said.

“Our starts have been very poor, so we’ve just got to come out of the gates and put a better start in and it will carry on through the game for us I think.”
