Rabbitohs Head Coach Maguire appeared on Fox Sports’ magazine show, Sterlo On The Couch, last night (Wednesday) and answered all of the tough questions thrown at him about the Club’s 2016 season so far.
Topics from the team’s win/loss record and team performance in 2016, to the team’s pre-season camp in Coffs Harbour, to the changes to the playing roster, Coach Maguire answered all of the questions thrown at him by host Peter Sterling and co-hosts Braith Anasta, Corey Parker and James Hooper.
“I think the attitude towards how the boys have grown, especially through this period, I really feel that it’s going to make this Club,” Maguire explained to the Fox Sports audience.
“We’ve obviously had some real highs, and we’ve had to deal with lots of different issues right throughout this season, and I think it’s going to be a real building block for where we’re moving forward.
“The leadership obviously through Greg (Inglis), Sam (Burgess), John Sutton, Adam Reynolds; they haven’t faced this for quite some time but we’ve really had to roll the sleeves up now and build from everything that we’ve got from within the Club.
“We’ve got a lot of good young kids coming through and it’s a matter to be able to blood those with good leadership and if we do that then I think the future’s bright.”
