Maguire’s Insights – Rd 20, 2016

Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire gives us his insights into this Monday’s clash with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, brought to you by Host Plus.

The Rabbitohs will play their annual home game at Allianz Stadium on Monday night as they look to return to the winner’s circle on Monday night.

Coach Maguire has found some positives to build on from last week’s loss to the Broncos.

“I thought the boys did a lot of good things against the Broncos,” Coach Maguire said.

“We did the review and there’s some highlighted areas that we’ve definitely had massive improvements on.

“The boys are showing a real attitude towards what we’re doing on the training park, and how we’re trying to grow everything in the background, so I’m looking forward to getting that out on the field.”

Coach Maguire will welcome back Bryson Goodwin into his side this week, being named in the centres, and also expects halfback Adam Reynolds to be available for Monday’s match up.

“We’ve had a number of bumps and bruises, and Bry’s coming off that broken arm, so I’m looking forward to getting Bryson back in and he’s a big part of what we are as a team,” Coach Maguire said.

“And obviously Adam, we’ll see how he is at the back end of the week and we can have him as an addition into the team as well.

“We’re looking forward to getting out and putting the things we practice onto the field.”
