Rabbitohs captain Greg Inglis has been charged with a grade two shoulder charge following tonight’s third State of Origin game.

A grade two shoulder charge has a base penalty of 350 points. Inglis has 20% loading due to a prior non-similar offence in the last two years.

Therefore, an early guilty plea will attract 315 points, meaning a three match suspension and 15 carry over points.

Fighting the charge at the NRL Judiciary and losing will accrue 420 points, meaning a four match suspension and 20 carry over points.

Fighting the charge and winning means Inglis will be free to play against the Broncos on Saturday.

Keep an eye on for more information as it comes to hand.
