In less than a week, the NRL is returning to Cairns and the Rabbitohs are pleased to announce an Open Training Session at Barlow Park on Saturday 2 July.
Rabbitohs Members and supporters will have the opportunity to witness the 2016 Rabbitohs NRL Squad in action with Head Coach Michael Maguire in their final training run before Kick Off on Sunday against the North Queensland Cowboys.
The open training session will run from 11.00am until 12:00pm on the Saturday, and Members and supporters are welcome to sit on the hill on the Eastern Side of the ground and watch the team warm up for Sunday’s blockbuster. For those who will be attending the training session, entry to Barlow Park is via Spence Street only.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs are returning to Cairns for the fourth consecutive year, in what promises to be an unmissable Sunday afternoon match up. The Rabbitohs boast a powerful and tenacious line-up featuring some of the most renowned talent in the League including Queensland’s own Greg Inglis, and English International Sam Burgess, to name just a few. The reigning Premiers, the Cowboys, will be led by Queensland halfback Johnathan Thurston.
