Reynolds No Stranger To Big Occasions

Rabbitohs and New South Wales halfback, Adam Reynolds, is looking forward to the challenge of taking on the Maroons in Game II of the Holden State of Origin Series at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday.

South Sydney Junior, Reynolds, is relishing the opportunity to experiencing the atmosphere of a packed Suncorp Stadium where it is expected that over 50,000 screaming Queenslanders will congregate on Wednesday, hoping to see Queensland retain the State of Origin Shield.

Despite being no stranger to big occasions, playing in-front of a packed ANZ Stadium in the 2014 Grand Final and Game I of the 2016 Origin Series, the hostile Queensland crowd will add another element to the occasion, yet the playmaker is looking forward to the challenge.

“They’re very passionate up there and everyone says it’s a different game,

“I’ve heard it’s a good challenge to go up there (to Suncorp Stadium),

“I’m sure we’ll get a good round of applause when we come to the stadium,” Reynolds said, tongue in cheek.

Although the rookie playmaker suffered a 6-4 defeat in his debut Origin game, Reynolds was grateful for the experience and is excited by the opportunity to get another game on the biggest stage in Rugby League.

“It was everything you’ve been told about, the physicality, the speed- just the pace of it,” said Reynolds.

“It was pretty frantic at time out there, but it was something that I definitely loved,

“I’m honoured to be able to represent New South Wales in Game II.”
