Rabbitohs representatives. Matt King and John Sutton, were on hand at Hartfield Park in Western Australia yesterday (Saturday) to help run over 100 kids through their paces in a Rabbitohs Rugby League clinic.

With WA putting on beautiful weather for the event, the Rabbitohs duo set about teaching all those assembled about the intricacies of the game, all in the name of good fun.

For Rabbitohs coaching staff member, King, the event is an important one given his own experience at similar clinics growing up in the country town of Casino.

“For me growing up in country NSW, It was always such a treat to get NRL players into the little country town of Casino where I grew up,” said King.

“Obviously over here in WA, these kids don’t get any exposure to any sort of NRL so the fact that we come over and do such a great job – it’s going to do wonders not only for the South Sydney Rabbitohs but for the game of Rugby League over here in WA.”
