Bye week may provide welcome respite for some, but for others like Rabbitohs hooker Cameron McInnes, it’s a week without the joys of playing the game he loves.

“Bye week is good, but I’m a little bit frustrated that I don’t get to play footy this weekend though,” said McInnes at the Club’s temporary Coogee Oval training base.

“We’re all looking forward to playing and we want to take that attitude over to Perth with us.

“The boys have been ripping in the last few days. There’s a good feeling around the boys so it’s been a really good week so far.

“It’s always good to change things up, especially down here – the sun, the beach and all the boys getting around and having a coffee. It’s been good but we’ve been working hard as well.

“I think it’s just keeping that attitude and that hunger,” said Mcinnes.

“All the footy side of skills and stuff and all those little things will come along with that.”
