Rabbitohs fullback Cody Walker showed his pride in his family, his heritage and his Club when he scored a magnificent solo try on the stroke of half time in last night’s victory over the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Rabbitohs Members and supporters were resigned to the fact that the team would go into the half time break trailing on the scoreboard, but a deft grubber kick and regather behind the Dragons’ defensive line gave Walker a try beside the posts.

The highlight of the play however was Walker’s touching tribute on the Rabbitohs Indigenous Jersey.

After touching down, he grabbed his jersey, found his hand print and tribe names and pointed them out to the crowd and the television audience watching at home.
