Rabbitohs forward, Jason Clark, has sounded out areas that he and his teammates know can be improved ahead of this Thursday’s Round 9 clash against the Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium.

The Rabbitohs return to their home-ground this week after a two-week road-trip to Queensland, and are looking forward to building on the positives of their last outing against the Brisbane Broncos last Friday.

The Tigers meanwhile come into the match having gone down to the Canberra Raiders over the weekend by a 60-6 score-line. But Clark and his men are not reading into their last performance, instead focusing on their own areas for improvement

“It’s definitely a big game,” said Clark of the upcoming clash.

“We’re not going to take too much out of their game and what happened with them – it’s all about us and working hard this week.

“Personally and as a team (we need to work on) our completions, holding that ball and getting down their end. If we can get it down their end and force some line drop-outs and repeat sets, we’re in good strides to keep going forward.”

This week’s return to ANZ Stadium marks the first time since Round 6 that the men in Red and Green will play at the venue, but you wouldn’t know that according to Clark – the Coogee-Randwick Wombats product pointing to the incredible levels of Rabbitohs support everywhere the team goes. Clark is expecting much the same this week in the Club’s return home.

“It’s been unbelievable,” admitted Clark of the support.

“First obviously we were in Townsville and then in Brisbane. Unbelievable the support we had in Brisbane – the Burrow that were there were as loud as anything in that corner and it’s always good to hear them and know that you’ve got them behind you.

“Rain, hail or shine, no matter where we are we can always count on them”
