Rabbitohs Head Coach, Michael Maguire, has given his insights into Round 9 of the NRL Telstra Premiership as his side prepare to take on the Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium.

The Rabbitohs received a boost today with Maguire naming halfback Adam Reynolds in this week’s team – Club medical staff clearing the playmaker to return after taking a knock to the face against the Broncos.

“It is positive,” said Maguire of Reynolds’ clearing.

“The boys were pretty thorough – the medical guys – they’ve come through to allow him to play so it’s always a bonus when we’ve got little ‘Reyno’ in the team, but we’ve got to make sure that we’re building our game so he can do the things he’s capable of, along with everyone.

“I’ve continually talked about the little things in the game that we’re focusing on – we’re taking steps forward, but it won’t mean much if we don’t take another big step forward again this week – that’s what the boys are preparing to do and they’ve shown that on the training park.”
