Rabbitohs Head Coach, Michael Maguire, says that his team’s focus is on getting the little things right ahead of Friday’s Round 8 clash against the Brisbane Broncos in Brisbane.

After going down to reigning Premiers, the North Queensland Cowboys in Round 7, the Men in Red and Green will be building on the positives from that game while addressing areas for improvement this week against last year’s runners’ up.

“You review your performance and make sure you take what we probably didn’t get right out of that game and look at the positives that we did,” said Maguire.

“There were moments in that game where we showed great fight and great attitude, but there were probably other moments where we didn’t.

“So the little areas of the game – whether it be all the little kick-pressures or the kick-chase and those areas of effort are things that we need to make sure that we improve on.

“The Cowboys and the Broncos and those teams up the top have been doing those efforts really well at the moment.”
