Rabbitohs hooker, Cameron McInnes, fronted the Rugby League media this morning (Saturday) following yesterday’s Good Friday clash against the Bulldogs.
“We weren’t good enough yesterday,” said McInnes of the 42-12 loss.
“The Bulldogs turned up to play and they executed their game-plan really well and we didn’t go with them.”
However focus has already shifted to next Thursday night’s game against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Brookvale Oval according to McInnes, who sees the upcoming match as an opportunity to get his side’s game right.
“That’s the best thing about our sport – that’s done now and we move on to Manly and we can really turn things around,” said McInnes.
“It’s just about obviously looking after ourselves and then getting back to training, working on things and challenging each other with that effort to make sure bodies are in front to really match that intensity.”
