Rabbitohs Hooker, Damien Cook, says training is becoming more game related and the team is starting to take shape for the coming season.

After recharging the batteries over the Christmas break Damien Cook is glad to be back into training.

"It's good to be back now. This is the exciting part of season as we start to get ready for games", he said.

With the Auckland Nines and trials approaching Cook says that training has shifted to focus more on game skills. Several weeks into Janruary pre-season Damien believes the team is starting to take shape before Round One's clash with The Roosters.

"Once we get through the Nines and the trials thats when the team starts to take a bit of shape. We've got that big rival match Round One against The Roosters and I'm definitely looking forward to that one."
