Angus Crichton, joined the Rabbitohs’ under 20s squad in 2015 after representing the Australian Schoolboys in Rugby Union in 2013 and 2014. Crichton played in the Rabbitohs’ championship-winning Auckland Nines squad last year and has been promoted to South Sydney’s full time squad for the 2016 season.
The now 19 year old played his role in the Nines tournament by scoring a try during the course of proceedings, before going on to make a place for himself in the Club’s NYC line-up.
A hand injury limited the young-gun to just six games, however the Scots College product still managed to score three tries for a total of 12 points during his first season in the red and green.
“I learned a lot throughout the 2015 season and I’m looking forward to building on that this coming year,” Crichton said after re-signing with the Club in December.
“We’ve put in a lot of effort so far this pre-season and I’m looking forward to getting out on the field and improving my game.”
