The South Sydney Rabbitohs have today agreed to release Tim Grant from the final three seasons of his playing contract, allowing him to take up an opportunity with another NRL Club, effective immediately.

Grant played 21 NRL games for the Rabbitohs in the 2015 season, taking his tally to 143 first grade games throughout his career.

Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire thanked Tim for his efforts for the Club.

“We all appreciate the job Tim did for the Club last year, he was part of the World Club Challenge touring squad, and played many games for us throughout 2015,” Coach Maguire said.

“Tim has an opportunity at another Club which we’re happy for him to pursue, and on behalf of everyone at the Club we wish him the best of luck with the rest of his career.”
