New Rabbitohs recruit, Damien Cook, has taken on the role of ambassador for the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics Australia (FAST), to help his new little friend.

Jacob Caracoglia, aged five, has Angelman Syndrome, a rare, neuro-genetic disorder which affects speech and mobility, and causes severe intellectual and developmental ­delays.

In a story published in the Canterbury-Bankstown Express on Monday, Cook spoke about his new role and the little man and his family that have inspired him.
