Alex Johnston pulled off this amazing try-saving effort late in the Rabbitohs’ Round 12 clash against the Titans, all but ending any chance of a Titanic revival.

With three minutes left in the match, the Gold Coast on the attack and down by six points, the Rabbitohs looked to be on the back-pedal as the Titans attacked the red and green line.

But just as the Titans strode through a narrow gap and over the line, Johnston – now playing at fullback after Greg Inglis left the field – proved his worth in the position by not only being in the right place at the right time, but also managing to knock the ball clean out of the Titans attacker’s hands to deny him a try.
