Rabbitohs skipper, Greg Inglis, walked the red carpet at the Dally M Awards last night (Monday) alongside wife Sally, enjoying the game’s night of nights.

Swapping his jersey and boots for a tux and dress shoes, Greg and Sally were among the throng of players, officials, wives, girlfriends and actors who took in the evening that saw North Queensland’s Johnathan Thurston claim his fourth Dally M Medal.

Among a raft of gongs awarded on the night, Inglis was nominated in two categories, including for Fullback of the Year, as well as representative player of the year.

The night comes ahead of this Sunday’s historic all-Queensland Grand Final, an event that Inglis – himself a Queenslander – is unable to pick a side on.

“I’ll sit on the fence for this one, being Queenslanders” said Inglis of himself and Sally.

“Queensland will win.”
