Rabbitohs five-eighth John Sutton said his team was disappointed with their Round 24 performance against the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium in Friday Night Football.

Speaking at the team’s recovery session this morning, Sutton lamented the missed opportunity.

“It wasn’t up to our standard,” said Sutton of the performance.

“We were disappointed with that effort last night. We’ve got a short turnaround so we’ve just got to make sure we train hard this week and give our best against the Broncos.”

The Bulldogs raced out to a 22-0 lead in the first half before the Rabbitohs managed to claw their way back with three tries of their own in the second half.

The Rabbitohs will now prepare to take on the Brisbane Broncos next Thursday Night at Allianz Stadium.
