The South Sydney Rabbitohs and Souths Cares are excited to announce the launch of the Rabbitohs HSC Program for 2016. The program is a unique offering at SEDA College, providing students in Year 11 and 12 with the opportunity to combine their passion for League with an exciting education pathway.

SEDA College is an independent, co-educational Year 11 to Year 12 school, which will commence delivery of HSC in 2016. SEDA College has developed an innovative partnership with the SEDA Group that allows the school to deliver the SEDA program and its curriculum. SEDA College will provide students with:

·        an applied and engaging learning environment

·        real industry experience

·        a learning for life approach to education and

·        pathways to an exciting future

As part of the Rabbitohs HSC Program, students will have the opportunity to learn from staff within the organisation and are involved with industry programs, major events, practical placement and other industry experience. Students have the opportunity to be involved in a range of participation programs and events including:

·        Delivery of clinics through Souths Cares and Rabbitohs participation programs

·        Match day assistance at Rabbitohs games

·        School and community visits in conjunction with the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Souths Cares

·        Coaching and officiating school and community sporting organisations

SEDA College will empower students to pursue meaningful pathways upon completion of their Year 12 into work or further study. Students will have the opportunity to transition into one of seven Diploma programs at Sydney TAFE, before articulating into a number of universities across Sydney and NSW. With a strong connection to industry, students will also develop real-world skills providing graduates with the opportunity to gain employment across numerous industries.
