Bears v Tigers

North Sydney Oval

Sunday, 3pm

The North Sydney Bears will take on the Wests Tigers at 3pm this Sunday at North Sydney Oval in a fight for ninth position on the NSW Cup ladder.

Norths are fresh and ready for another big match after a bye last week. Their previous form includes a Round 12 match against Mounties that ended up in a thrilling 26-all draw, with Joel Reddy bagging two tries in the process.

The Bears currently sit just one point behind their opposition, the Wests Tigers, who occupy ninth position on the twelve team ladder.

After a challenging opening half to the opening stanza of the competition, North’s have recently hit some form, bagging 9 points in the past six rounds, which included a dominant 26-22 win against Wests in Round 12.

The Tigers meanwhile have experienced sporadic form throughout the season so far and will no doubt also be looking for some consistency.

With the young Wests side coming off a last round win against Newcastle, ascendency lies with the black white and gold, while the Bears have everything to play for as they look to scale the ladder again.

Expect a hotly contested match at the historic North Sydney Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Darren Nicholls has been in fine form with the boot for the Bears in recent weeks.
