John Sutton is preparing to take on what he has described as a “good team of quality players” this Friday night, when the Rabbitohs take on the Manly-Warringah Sea –Eagles at ANZ Stadium in Round 16.

The Manly side come into the match having won their last game following a bye, and will be looking to put in a good performance against the Rabbitohs.

“I think they’ve been travelling pretty well of late,” said Sutton.

“They’re a good team of quality players, so we’ll definitely have to be on our game this week.”

While the Rabbitohs will likely have the services of Adam Reynolds this Friday night following his recent return from a broken thumb, Glenn Stewart – battling the same injury – is putting in the hard yards to be fit according to Sutton.

“Yeah he’s been training the house down since he’s been off,” said Sutton.

“He’s been doing everything he can and we’ll see how he goes out there (at training) in the next couple of days – he might be a chance – he’s just keen to play some football.”
