A hard fought win last week that will no doubt boost confidence! Our back line has stepped up with the entertainment factor and our forwards have hit their stride. That fire in my belly has been ignited!

As much as I would love to see Dylan Walker in the sky blue, I am very, very glad he is lining up for us at the moment. His performance against the Warriors was a spectacle. When you have a man as slippery as that coming up against any defence, you can only thank the powers that be that he is in our colours. He has a presence on-field that is special.

With Inglis in Origin camp this week, we are lucky enough to see John Olive make his first grade debut. From the same school as Alex Johnston and Beau Champion, with speedy feet and a nose for the try-line, I am excited to see what he can come up with. Our rookies have done us proud so far this season and I’m sure John will do the same.

I’m predicting a massive clash against the Tigers. We need to come off that magnificent win against the Warriors with another dominant performance. The Tigers will be without Robbie Farah and Aaron Woods, but they’re still dangerous – especially when it comes to their zippy backs. If Naiqama is on, their scoring can multiply quickly, so we have to be sure to control this match from the start.

It cannot be too long until we have our main man Reynolds back either. When he was injured for the second time, I had all the negatives flow through my mind. However, I am also pretty stoked with what we have achieved without him. Obviously there’s always room for improvement, but we are fifth, behind Brisbane, the Cowboys, Melbourne and St George, and we’re capable of beating all of them.

After tonight, we have the bye next week, then Manly and Penrith before our second bye of the year. But for now though, it is time to tame the Tigers.

I’ve got that winning feeling Rabbitohs! I hope you do too!

Up the Mighty Rabbitohs!
