Mere weeks after notching up his 100th first grade appearance for the Rabbitohs, Jason Clark is set to reach another milestone when he plays his 150th grade game for the Club this Friday against the Tigers.

Currently on 102 first grade appearances, Clark’s new milestone takes into account his 47 NYC (under 20s) games, played before making his debut in the top grade in 2009.

During his time in the under 20s, the Coogee-Randwick Wombats junior scored a total of 80 points (20 tries). Clark debuted in the top grade against the St George Illawarra Dragons in Round 25 of the 2009 season, and has since scored 24 points (six tries) as well as earning representative selection for City this year.

The player with the record for the most games in all grades for the Rabbitohs is Craig Coleman, who played 297 games between 1980 and 1992. Click here for more interesting Club records statistics.

Clark will start from the Rabbitohs’ bench against the Tigers wearing jumper number 14. The Souths Junior says that his side has plenty to improve on this week.

“We’ve still got plenty of improving to do,” admitted Clark.

“It’s still early days and there are other teams with better records than us at the moment. We’re working hard on it, but yeah still plenty of improvement.”
