For the third successive year, the Rabbitohs and Warriors clash in Perth will be played in front of a new record attendance, with the match officially sold out crowd at nib Stadium.
In a true sign of Rabbitohs and Rugby League support in Western Australia, the ‘sold out’ sign went up inside the ground with Members and supporters proudly displaying the banner, proving that the numbers have only continued to grow at the annual clash since the first record attendance in 2013.
“This is a fantastic show of support for our Club and our game here today,” said Rabbitohs CEO John Lee.
“To see the appetite for our game, our Club and our colours in Western Australia again in record numbers shows just how much passion there is for the game.
“Perth is South Sydney’s Western Australian home and we’re proud to be flying the flag again in 2015.
“A huge thank you to all of those who have come out to see the next instalment of our rivalry with the New Zealand Warriors.”
