Local Supply have teamed up with South Cares to create 400 strictly limited edition pairs of sunglasses, with $20 from each sale going back to Souths Cares in support of their local community programs.

The sunglasses, labelled the Everyday: Souths Edition, are inspired by the local community and the Rabbitohs’ undying attitude to never give up – a sentiment that rings strongly with the work performed by Souths Cares in supporting disadvantaged and marginalised youth and their families through the delivery of capacity building programs addressing education, training, health and employment needs.

Local Supply is an independent sunglass company founded in the South Sydney district by Kensington-bred local Sean Satha. The company’s brand ethos seeks to celebrate diversity and equality. Local Supply sunglasses are designed in Sydney, Australia, and made for locals everywhere.

Souths Cares General Manager Brock Schaefer praised the partnership and the opportunities which it opens for Souths Cares’ mission.

“Huge thanks need to be extended to Sean Satha and Local Supply for their belief in what we try to achieve in the community,” said Brock.

“Souths Cares is always looking to align itself with like-minded individuals and organisations that have our local community interests at heart – Local Supply seek to embody that, so we are very pleased to be partnering with them.”

The limited edition sunglasses are finished in polished black frames, with a subtle nod to the myrtle green and cardinal red on the arms and fitted with green reflector lenses.

Glory Glory is inscribed in gold on the inside left arm as a tribute to the Rabbitohs’ 2014 NRL premiership.
