There were plenty of positives that came out of our game against Melbourne – we kept them scoreless in the second half and were very unlucky to have two tries disallowed, plus Aaron Gray played another impressive game on the wing. We’re not far off where we want to be.
Well NRL Fantasy coaches and Rabbitohs Members, I’m predicting a promising week for us, because while it’s disappointing that Dylan Walker, Alex Johnston and Chris McQueen missed out on Origin selection, this will no doubt translate to points on the field and in your team.
This week we are taking on the Eels, and I am looking forward to what McQueen, Walker and Johnston turn on. But I’m also excited to see Jason Clark take the field for his 100th game. It is going to be a special game for this pure-bred Rabbitoh. We have had the honour of watching this man flourish and grow into a senior player with so much to give to our great Club. I congratulate him on his 100th game and thank him for everything he has done for us so far!
With our captain on Origin duty for the Queenslanders, I look forward to seeing who stands up. Parramatta beat us last time and they took a lot of pride from doing so.
This is an opportunity for us to get two points back. I am getting a little over writing about a loss so let’s get behind the boys and do everything we can to support them over the line.
We’re now almost half way through the year and we’re getting closer and closer to the team we know we can be every week.
We will not let those slippery Eels through this week. Let’s take this opportunity with both hands this week!
Game on Members! Let’s see as many of you out there this Friday as possible!
