

South Sydney’s SG Ball side has progressed to the competition’s Preliminary Final after defeating the Balmain Tigers 12-6 at Leichardt Oval over the weekend.
The Willie Peters coached outfit will now face the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at St Marys Stadium this Saturday,2 May at 12pm, with the winner set to progress to the competition’s Grand Final. The other Preliminary Final will be played between the Penrith Panthers and the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, with kick-off set for 3pm at the same venue.

Souths have now gone through the under 18s competition scoring six wins and a draw – two wins in the finals series against Newcastle and Balmain.
Meanwhile, the Club’s Harold Matthews side was knocked out following a loss to the Tigers in a match also played at Leichardt Oval – the side narrowly going down by just two points in an 18-16 loss.
Rabbitohs Members and supporters are urged to get out to St Mary’s Stadium to cheer on the boys as they go in search of a Grand Final berth.
