Rabbitohs centre, Bryson Goodwin, says that his side will need to be better come Monday night when they take on the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in Cronulla.

The Rabbitohs went down by 30-12 on Monday night to a resurgent North Queensland Cowboys side after leading at half-time – the Cowboys taking full control in the second stanza to claim victory.

“We’ll have to be a lot better this week playing the Sharks,” said Goodwin.

“We’ll work hard at training this week and turn up ready for Monday night again. They (the Cowboys) turned up in that second half and played really well.

“They put us to the sword and taught us a lesson in how to come out and finish a game off.”

Michael Maguire has named his team to take on the Sharks next Monday, with Glenn Stewart and Luke Keary again set to partner in the halves.
