Rabbitohs centre, Dylan Walker, has received confirmation that he has a fractured metacarpal in his hand and will require surgery.

The injury – sustained during the first half of Sunday’s 20-6 victory over the Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium – will be operated on today (Monday). Rabbitohs.com.au will have all the latest updates on Walker during the week.

Despite the injury, Walker played a central role in South Sydney’s third round victory, scoring two tries while also making 128 metres with the ball in hand.

Stay tuned to Rabbitohs.com.au for updates on Walker in our ALCATEL onetouch High Performance Update.
