Rabbitohs winger Alex Johnston says he is forming strong combinations with his side’s playmakers, which can only be of benefit for the Rabbitohs as the season progresses.

One of those burgeoning combinations was on show in full flight last Sunday when Johnston was the beneficiary of another Greg Inglis effort to add to the giant’s highlights reel.

“The ball went into Greg’s hands and I just watched him work his magic, do what Greg does,” Johnston said of Inglis’ manoeuvres to escape the in-goal.

“He’s a freak of nature so I just thought ‘You know what, I’ll just back him up here and see what happens.’”
