With plenty of intriguing match-ups set to explode on Sunday afternoon at ANZ Stadium, the battle between Test centres Dylan Walker and Michael Jennings is one that not only Rugby League fans in general will be keen to see, but one that Walker himself is keen for.

Both Walker and Jennings enjoyed time together in Tim Sheens’ Four Nations Kangaroos squad as a potent centre-pairing, boasting blistering speed, incredible stepping ability and rock-solid defence.

“I think we’ve both got the same sort of body size – short and stocky,” laughed Walker.

“I just love the way he plays. He’s great footwork and great speed, so a player like him is very dangerous.

“Me and him got along well in the tournament – the Kangaroos tour,” said Walker of his relationship with Jennings.

“He’s a tough opponent – he’s a special player. Before that camp I never knew ‘Jenko’. He’s done everything in the game and is real special. As I kid growing up I really looked up to him.”
