Rabbitohs Head Coach, Michael Maguire, spoke to Rabbitohs.com.au in his Fujitsu Post Match Reaction following his side’s 36-6 drubbing of the Brisbane Broncos in Brisbane.

While pleased with the side’s defence and overall performance, Maguire was quick to point out that there are plenty of things the side needs to work on as they prepare to take on arch-rivals, the Roosters at home in round two.

“Proud of the players, but we’re aware that it was round one and we’ve got to make sure that we prepare ourselves for round two,” said Maguire.

“We had a lot of things that we did well, but there’s a few things there that we need to look back on, prepare and take that into round two.”

The Rabbitohs will now take on the Sydney Roosters in their first home game of the season at ANZ Stadium on Sunday, 15 March at 4pm. Tickets are available now through Ticketek.
