The South Sydney Rabbitohs flew back in to Sydney this morning (Wednesday) after conquering the World Club Challenge in a tournament record 39-0 win over ESL Champions, St Helens in the UK.

Rabbitohs Head Coach, Michael Maguire, was on hand to speak to the Rugby League media, the mentor praising his team for their efforts across the board during the week-long tour.

“I thought across the park everybody really did their job,” said Maguire.

“Someone like Glenn Stewart for the first time came in and he impressed – I think it was the first run he’d had for quite some time.

“I thought Greg (Inglis) led from the back there and chimed in there with some defensive efforts, and even Issac Luke – he performed really well. But right across the park I was pretty pleased with how the boys went.”
