NRL Rugby League action returns in 2015 at the 32nd Annual Charity Shield feature pre-season match between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the St George Illawarra Dragons.

This will be the first appearance of the South Sydney Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium since their 2014 NRL Telstra Premiership victory on the same ground in October.

The Rabbitohs will be aiming to retain the Shield for the third consecutive year; and it will be the first hit out for the Rabbitohs before they return to their traditional home of Redfern Oval before heading to the UK for the World Club Challenge against St Helens.

Important Seating Information for 2015 Rabbitohs Ticketed Members

As part of the Rabbitohs 2015 Membership offering, Rabbitohs Ticketed Members will be able to gain access to this match free of charge using their 2015 Membership card. As the hosting club in 2015, Members will be able to experience the game like it was a regular season match.

Diamond, Gold & Silver Reserved Seat Members
Diamond, Gold and Silver Members with a seat allocated for the 2015 season have access to their regular season reserved seat for the Charity Shield.

General Admission

General Admission Members will have access to the allocated 2015 General Admission area Bays 102-135 and Bays 113-126.

Burrow Members

Burrow Members will have access to the allocated 2015 Burrow area Bays 110 and 111 and can purchase additional tickets to the area as per the 2015 Rabbitohs Season.

Regional Members

Regional Members will have access to the 2015 Regional Area in Bay 133 for the 2015 Charity Shield.

Three Game Members

Three Game Members will have access to the 2015 Three Game Member Area in Bay 109, Rows 2-10.

Please note that Ticketed Members must scan their 2015 Membership Cards at the ANZ turnstiles to gain entry to the Charity Shield.

Dragons Members with Charity Shield Access

As part of the ongoing reciprocal arrangements with the Rabbitohs and Dragons, any Dragons Members that have access to the Charity Shield will be seated in unreserved seating on Level 4 East or in the Dragons General Admission Area. This allocation is as per normal Rabbitohs vs Dragons home game.

Please note: All 2015 Ticketed Rabbitohs Members who renew or join after Friday 30 January will not receive their 2015 Membership Card in time for the Charity Shield. These Members are to collect a ticket which will give them equivalent access to their Membership from Box Office H; near Gate H at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.

Trains

 

The closest train station to ANZ Stadium is Olympic Park Station.

Buses

Sydney Buses will operate to a regular weekday timetable.

Route 525 operates between Parramatta and Burwood via Sydney Olympic Park. Route 526 runs from the Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf to Olympic Park.

 

Ferries

Sydney Ferries will operate to a regular weekday timetable. Should services to Sydney Olympic Park be full, fans can take a train from Circular Quay Station.

ANZ Stadium is approximately a 40 minute walk from Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the Stadium.

Parking

Fans are encouraged to leave the car at home and take advantage of the train services in operation.

Rabbitohs Member Bar & Post Match Function

The Rabbitohs Members Bar will be open for the Charity Shield for Members wishing to enjoy a drink after the NRL Match. This will be in the usual location of 'The Cauldron' (North West Terrace of ANZ Stadium).

Please note that there will no official Post Match Function in ‘The Cauldron’.

Members will need to show their Membership Card to gain entry.

Please note the Rabbitohs Kidzone will not be available for the Charity Shield. Kidzone will open for our official Round 2 kick off against the Roosters on Sunday 15 March 2015.
