Rabbitohs players have swept the Dick Smith Auckland Nines tournament awards, with Adam Reynolds being named MVP, while also being named alongside fellow Rabbitohs, Issac Luke and George Burgess in the team of the tournament.

Reynolds accepted his MVP award and a cheque for $5000 after a brilliant tournament that saw the Premiership winning half dominate proceedings with his brilliant kicking game, pivotal tries and conversions.

“It’s been an unreal tournament and it’s something I’ll never forget,” said Reynolds.

“Thank you to all the fans – you’ve made this an unreal experience.”

Both Issac Luke and George Burgess weren’t far behind Reynolds though when it came to value, with the two being named in the team of the tournament as part of a talented class of players.
