The South Sydney Rabbitohs have booked their place in the 2015 Auckland Nines Final after demolishing the Parramatta Eels by a tournament record 37-6 score and will now play Cronulla in the Final.
Doubles to Bryson Goodwin, Adam Reynolds and Matt King were a feature of what was the side’s most dominant performance to date. The Rabbitohs will now take on the winner of the second Semi Final between the Sydney Roosters and the Cronulla Sharks in the Final at 5:30pm (AEDT)
The Eels lost the ball on their very first tackle, putting Souths just 20 metres away from the line. The men in red and green spun the ball out to the wing of Bryson Goodwin, who did well to ground the ball despite the better efforts of new Eels recruit and Souths Junior, Reece Robinson. Adam Reynolds sprayed the conversion attempt to leave the early score at 4-0.
A penalty against the Eels right on the Rabbitohs line for Chris Sandow throwing the ball at an opponent, saw the Rabbitohs march straight up-field for a quick try to Reynolds who also converted the try, making it 10-0.

Some brilliant team work in mid-field saw the Rabbitohs – sparked primarily by the linking up of forwards, Issac Luke, George Burgess and Jason Clark – eventually saw Bryson Goodwin grab his second out wide to make it 14-0.
At the re-start, the Rabbitohs managed to get yet another line drop-out that would eventually see Matt King cross for his second of the tournament, courtesy of a perfectly weighted Adam Reynolds cross-field kick. Reynolds missed the conversion, taking the sides into the break with the Rabbitohs leading 18-0.
On the resumption, some more brilliant teamwork kicked off by the brilliant running of Matt King eventually saw Angus Chricton score a long-range bonus zone try. Reynolds added the extras to make it 25-0.
Moments later, Adam Reynolds put in a long kick into the in-goal with no Eels in sight. Reynolds chased and planted the ball over the line for a try before adding the conversion. Issac Luke then added one of his own to make it 37-0 with Reynolds’ conversion.
The Eels grabbed a consolation try with Junior Paulo kicking the conversion to make the final score 37-6.
