Rabbitohs five-eighth, Luke Keary, fronted the rugby league media today (Saturday) at the 2015 Emerging Blues camp to speak about his selection.

“It’s very exciting,” said Keary.

“It’s a privilege and an honour – there’s a lot of faces there who have done a lot in the game so far. We’re all young boys so it’s exciting to be here.”

A total of six Rabbitohs were selected for the camp, including; Alex Johnston, Adam Reynolds, Dylan Walker, Luke Keary, Cameron McInnes and Kyle Turner.

The one-day camp is staged to give players of significant potential an insight into what it takes to play State of Origin football for New South Wales. A number of aspects are covered including NSW players’ physical and mental preparation and team culture.

“They’ve never played Origin before and it’s a great step up for them to come into our camp to see what New South Wales is all about. Hopefully they’ll take a lot out of it.”
