Rabbitohs and Kiwi hooker, Issac Luke, joined his teammates and the Australian team this week when hundreds of Kiwis filled Wellington’s Midland Park for a chance to meet Four Nations players at the City’s Civic Reception.

Players signed autographs and posed for photos with the locals as the sides prepare for a massive Four Nations Final at Westpac Stadium in Wellington.

For Luke, the reception was a home-coming of sorts, with the Kiwi rake happy to come home and rub shoulders with family and friends.

“Before my career took off, I started here as well,” said Luke.

“It’s good to come home – I’ve got a lot of family around here as well so it’s good to see them. It’s good that the community is getting out and getting behind us.

“Our people are always behind us and hopefully we can get a big crowd out there on Saturday.”
