Rabbitohs back-rower Chris McQueen spoke to on-field immediately following the presentation of the 2014 NRL Telstra Premiership trophy.

McQueen shared his feelings about the victory, pointing to the long journey the players endured to get to ultimately become Premiers.

“It’s outstanding,” said McQueen.

“Madge obviously took over the Club three years ago, and we’ve been working so hard since day one.

“We’ve obviously came up short a couple of times but to get this one tonight – obviously with some boys leaving as well – it makes it so much more special.”
