Rabbitohs back-rower, Kyle Turner, fronted the rugby league media this week ahead of Sunday’s epic Grand Final clash against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium.

For Turner – who made his first grade debut earlier in the season – being part of a South Sydney Grand Final week is still surreal.

“I’ve grown up loving Souths,” said Turner.

“To be in a Grand Final with them – it’s unbelievable. You can’t really describe the feeling.”

Both Greg Inglis and Lote Tuqiri have prior Grand Final experience and Turner says that players such as them as well as the more senior members of the squad have imparted their wisdom on the younger players.

“They’re just telling us to enjoy the week,” said Turner.

“Chances don’t come around like this – I’m sure we’ll get a  bit nervous before the game, but until then, we’ll just take it all in.”
