Rabbitohs back-rower, Kyle Turner, isn’t one to shirk hard work, with the young-gun’s high work-rate helping his side to victory in recent weeks.

Turner made a massive 40 tackles against the Sea Eagles in week one of the NRL’s Telstra Premiership Finals Series, Turner citing that he – like all his teammates – are not afraid of hard work and are simply out to do their job.

“I think they just come my way a bit,” smiled Turner.

“You’ve got to do your job for the team. If I have to make 50 tackles, I’ll do it. As long as everyone does their job, we’ll come out the other end.”

The Rabbitohs will have their biggest test of the year when they take on the Sydney Roosters tomorrow night (Friday) in a Preliminary Final blockbuster at ANZ Stadium.

Turner told the rugby league media this week that the mood in the close-knit Rabbitohs camp is positive, with the side set to raise the intensity this week.

“The bond we have between us is great,” said Turner.

“Everyone’s enjoying being around each other, we’re gelling together, getting some good football out and its semi-finals time, now we’ve got to really show that on the field.”
