Rabbitohs fullback Greg Inglis is under no illusions as to the talent the Roosters possess across the park – with fullback dismissing suggestions that the targeting of one player can produce victory.
With the likes of Anthony Minichiello, Mitchell Pearce and James Maloney all set to take on the Rabbitohs, Inglis insists a whole team approach is required.
“If you focus on one player, they’ve got dangerous players across the field who can pull your pants down in other areas,” said Inglis.
“We’ve just got to really focus on what our team plan is and nail it the best we can. It’s back to knowing our roles and going there and doing it.”
Inglis added that the week off was a blessing in disguise that allowed him to physically and mentally freshen up.
“My hip’s fine, my body’s fine and having the week off really mentally and physically freshened me up,” said Inglis.
“It’s been a blessing in disguise.”
Inglis will celebrate his 200th first grade game this Friday night.
