Rabbitohs High Performance Manager, Troy Thomson, updates us on the casualty ward at the Club in the first Finals edition of the ALCATEL onetouch High Performance Update.

Rabbitohs skipper, John Sutton, made a successful return to the field in last Thursday night’s round 26 stoush with the Roosters, with Thomson pleased with the manner in which the Captain pulled up.

“We were really happy with the way Sutto came back there,” said Thomson.

“Again full credit to our physios and medical staff – the guys did a really good job to get him back after a pretty serious knee injury. He’ll be much better for that run.”

Kyle Turner fell victim to a chicken-wing tackle during the course of last Thursday night’s match, with Thomson providing an update on the young-gun.

“We got him off to have a look at him,” said Thomson.

“He was able to return and finish the game off which was a good sign. He was a bit sore on Friday morning and for a couple of days, but again he hasn’t been restricted in anything in the gym or on the field, so he’s fully fit and ready to go.”

The High Performance Manager also provides an update on Ben Lowe.
