(UPDATED) The South Sydney Rabbitohs’ NYC side has secured seventh spot in the Holden Cup’s finals series, following a favourable result in Friday’s Brisbane Broncos and Melbourne Storm clash, and today's (Sunday's) Panthers and Warriors clash.

The Warriors and Panthers played out a rare 18 all draw this evening in Penrith, meaning both club's will finish in eighth and ninth position respectively, on 29 points - just one point behind the Rabbitohs.

The result means that the Rabbitohs will take on the sixth-placed Wests Tigers in week one of the finals.

The red and green’s finish the Holden Cup regular season on 30 points, with 13 wins and 11 losses. To read Thursday night’s match report from the Roosters clash, please click here.
