The South Sydney Rabbitohs’ NYC side has secured a spot in the Holden Cup’s finals series, following a favourable result in tonight’s (Friday’s) Brisbane Broncos and Melbourne Storm clash.

The Broncos accounted for the tenth-placed Melbourne Storm by 32-0 at AAMI Park this evening, meaning Ben Gardiner’s Rabbitohs – fresh from a gutsy 24-22 win over the Roosters last night (Thursday) –  will finish inside the top-eight.

The red and green’s finish the Holden Cup regular season on 30 points, with 13 wins and 11 losses. To read last night’s match report from the Roosters clash, please click here.
