Despite receiving extra attention from the Bulldogs forward pack, round 25 saw Sam Burgess top the stats yet again when it came to metres gained – the lock-forward running for 193 metres with the ball in hand, closely followed by fullback Greg Inglis with 178. Six Rabbitohs in total made over 100 metres during the clash on their way to their 21-14 victory.
