Rabbitohs second-rower, Kyle Turner, fronted the rugby league media following his side's victory over the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium.

Turner admitted that while the win was pleasing, the Rabbitohs' first half performance showed that there are still many areas to improve on ahead of this Thursday night's battle with the Sydney Roosters.

"Our first half yesterday just wasn't up to scratch," admitted Turner.

"We came back good in the second half but all over I think there's a lot we can improve on."
