Top Metre Gainers

Despite going down to a controlled Cowboys outfit, seven Rabbitohs managed to crack the century when it came to metres gained. Fullback and Captain, Greg Inglis, returned to spot with Thomas Burgess again producing a mammoth effort close behind with 168 metres with the ball in hand.

Issac Luke stayed busy throughout the course of the match, not only racking up 144 metres of his own from dummy-half, but also topping the tackle-count for the Rabbitohs with 43 to his name. Sam Burgess came in second in the defensive stakes with 42, while brother Thomas and Ben Lowe showed plenty of mettle off the bench by making 33 and 31 tackles respectively.
